About Bali Bird Park

Situated just beside the Gianyar Regency, Bali Bird Park is an exclusive nature park that features one of the most unique species of birds from all around the world including Bali Starling, Serpent eagles, Congo gray Parrot, Scarlet Macaw, and Pelicans. Founded just 20 years ago, the motto of this beautiful initiative is to protect endangered species of birds through natural breeding.

The whole surrounding of the park has been replicated following the natural ecosystem of Bali forest that helps these birds to breed and live in a natural atmosphere. Hence, around 2000 tropical plants and 50 different species of palm trees are found in the park. Also, inside the park complex, there's a large laboratory located where the process of observation and protection takes place.

Encircled by beautiful lakes, lush green flora, and fauna, the whole vibe of the Bird defines true beauty of nature. While relishing the tranquil environment of the park, you can enjoy various interactive shows such as the Pelican feeding show, feeding Komodo Dragon show, and 4D cinema theater conducted in the Bird Park.

How To Reach Bali Bird Park

Taking public transport will not be a great idea to reach Bali Bird Park. Hence, it is better to opt for a cab ride. Situated just 40 min away from Kuta, 20 min away from Sanur, and near Ubud, you can easily get a cab that will leave you at the door of the park.

Best Time To Visit Bali Bird Park

If you prefer a less crowded and tranquil environment, it is better to make your way to the Bird Park around 2:00 pm as during this time the park witnesses less crowds allowing you to enjoy the place at its best. Moreover, You can visit this park anytime during the day. 

Besides, to witness shows like the Komodo Dragon Show, you should visit either on Tuesday or Friday.

Bali Bird Park Other Essential Information

Tips for visiting:

• To enter the park, you must carry a valid ID proof. Without an Identity proof, your tickets will be canceled and you won't be able to enter the park. 
• By showing the stamp on your hand, you can go in and out of the park on the same day. 
• To feed the birds inside the park, you can only use the food that the park authority gives you to feed. 
• Bringing outside foods and drinks are prohibited inside the park. However, you can easily have a fine dining experience in the restaurants featured inside the park. 
• To avoid any kind of public hustle and standing in long queues, it is better to book the tickets online.
•  If you are planning to make a tour with your long group of 20 people, a free tour guide will be provided to you by the Bali Bird Park. 
• Keep your personal belongings safe, as the park will not be responsible for losing any of them. 
• If you are visiting Bali for the first time, it is better for you to stay near Ubud as it's easily accessible from Ubud. 
• Opting for a cab or rental car will be more helpful than taking public transportation.
• It takes almost 3 hours to explore the whole park, so make sure you have enough time in your hand to visit the park.
