Phnom Bakheng is an ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple located on a hilltop in the Angkor Archaeological Park, Cambodia. Built in the late 9th century during the reign of King Yasovarman I, it served as the state temple of the capital, Yasodharapura, before Angkor Wat was constructed.
