Ponagar Temple is a historical and cultural monument of Nha Trang which was built between the 7th and 13th century. This national temple is dedicated to Queen Po Ina Nagar who shared the crucial knowledge of agriculture and craftsmanship with the Cham civilization. Due to this, the people of the Cham clan still hold great respect and reverence for Ponagar Temple.
Hon Chong Beach, Nha Trang: The narrow granite promontory of Hon Chong offers fine views of the mountainous coastline north of Nha Trang and the nearby islands. The beach here has a more local flavor than Nha Trang Beach (but the accompanying refuse is unpleasant). Still, it's fun to watch the local kids do Acapulco-style swan dives into the ocean.
There are a reconstructed traditional run residence and a great cafe. Also known as the Chua Long Son,Pagoda Long Son is arranged on the foothill of Trai Thuy Mountain in the city of Nha Trang. The temple is well known for its substantial white Buddha picture, which sits on the mountain peak and can be seen from anyplace nearby. This temple was built in the year 1886 in the style of Taoist engineering, Long Son Pagoda has been home to some high-positioning Buddhist friars and the Vietnam Buddhist Studies Foundation was established here in 1936.
