About the Monument:
Renowned as one of the oldest Mughal gardens in India, the Ram Bagh refers to a beautiful Persian Garden with pathways & canals placed within the garden. The garden was developed from the idea of Islam's concept referring to an ideal paradise i.e a river flowing through the gardens. The garden was originally named Aram Bagh meaning Garden of Rest. The garden is beautifully classified into 3-levels where the 1st level has flowers and vegetables, the 2nd bed has flower beds and the third one is equipped with tanks.
