Know Before You Go
- The activity duration is approximately 5-6 hours (round trip).
- The starting point of the trek is the Nohkalikai Entrance.
- Participants must be between 10 to 50 years of age and in reasonably good physical condition.
- A local guide is included and mandatory for the trek, as the trail is unmarked and can be confusing.
- Meghalaya’s weather can change suddenly — carry a light raincoat or windcheater.
- Do not litter; carry back all waste, especially plastic. Please keep the trail clean.
- The instructor or guide reserves the right to deny participation to anyone found unfit or under the influence.
- Avoid eating heavy meals or consuming alcohol before and after the trek.
- ID proof is mandatory for all participants. PAN card will not be accepted as valid address proof.
- Plucking flowers, fruits, or disturbing natural habitats along the trail is strictly prohibited.
