By Car: Emirates Park Zoo is 45 minutes by car from Dubai and a 30-minute drive from Abu Dhabi city center. You can take a car ride to the zoo and park at the free on-site parking.

Due to these, they are losing their natural habitat and migrating from one place to another. What food is given to leopards?

Leopards are carnivores by birth and consume any meat they find. Be it a monkey, rodents, snakes, birds, fish, antelopes, etc. Unlike other cat varieties, leopards can easily accustom to a wide range of habitats and diet. They can live without drinking water like nearly 10 days, absorbing moisture from their food. In the Emirates Zoo, the leopards are fed with a commercial ground meat diet, usually provided to other zoo carnivores. It also includes large bones, thawed rabbit, and the carcass of sheep. But, when you share your dining with leopard, definitely, you will be served with a palatable cuisine and not the raw meat.

Can we click pictures with leopards?

Can we touch the leopard?

Yes. You will be allowed to touch the leopard until the trainer says “Okay”. Due to safety reasons, the zoo visitors are mostly not recommended to get close to the animal. Other than the leopard, you can touch and feed most of the farm animals such as giraffes, zebras, camels, monkeys, and peacocks.
