- Both destinations require valid visas; ensure your passport has at least 6 months’ validity. Carry printed confirmations for hotels, transfers & tours.
- Dubai uses AED and Israel uses ILS, but credit cards work almost everywhere. Keep some local cash handy for markets, taxis, and tips.
- October to April is the most pleasant season for both countries, while summers can be very hot, especially in desert regions.
- Modest clothing is expected at religious sites in Israel and in public areas of Dubai. Respect local customs, especially around places of worship.
- Both destinations offer diverse cuisines. Tap water is safe in Israel; in Dubai, bottled water is recommended.
- Fridays are holy in Dubai, while in Israel, Shabbat (Friday evening to Saturday evening) sees limited services and closures. Always ask before photographing people.
- Souks in Dubai and markets like Carmel Market in Israel are great for souvenirs. Bargaining is expected in markets, but prices in malls are fixed.
- Always ask before taking photos of people. Avoid clicking restricted government buildings, military zones, or sensitive religious sites.
- Alcohol is available in licensed venues in Dubai and most restaurants in Israel. In Dubai, avoid drinking in public places.
- Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. Around 10% is standard at restaurants in both destinations.
