The Deer Park is located at a distance of around 16kms from the city of Hyderabad in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. The park covers an area of around 54acres of land, which is home to various species of deers along with a large number of birds. In earlier days, the Hyderabad Deer Park was the hunting ground of the Nizam, now it is preserved by the Forest Department.
The park has a rich vegetation cover that comprises of various plants & trees. Around 189hectares of land is covered with acacia trees. During the monsoon season, the beautiful golden flowers of these trees cover the lush green grass and lend the ambience an enchanting look and is a great escape from the bustle of the city.
