The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a well-known wildlife park in the southern Gold Coast area of Queensland, Australia. It was opened in 1947. Alex Griffiths, who kept bees, started the Currumbin Bird Sanctuary to protect his yard and bring in lorikeets.
