- Remove your shoes before entering homes and religious places unless told otherwise.
- Photography is allowed at most sites, but always ask permission before photographing people.
- Internet access is available in cities, but speeds may vary; get a local SIM card for better connectivity.
- Summers can be very hot—wear sun protection, stay hydrated, and carry a hat.
- Friday is a holy day—some mosques may limit access to non-Muslim visitors.
- Be respectful of local customs, especially during religious events or Ramadan.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- Uzbekistan uses Uzbek Som (UZS), while Kyrgyzstan uses Kyrgyz Som (KGS). ATMs are common in cities, but carry cash for rural areas.
- Some areas in Kyrgyzstan, like Ala-Archa or Konorchek Canyons, are at higher altitudes—stay hydrated and pace yourself.
