1. By Air: The nearest airport to Kinnaur is located in Shimla, named Jubbarhatti Airport and located at a distance of approximately 267 kilometres. You can get a number of direct as well as connecting flights from cities such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai, Jaipur and Kanpur. Some popular airlines operating on this route are Air Asia, Air India, Vistara, Spice Jet, Jet Airways and Indigo. Once you reach Shimla, you can easily take a taxi to Kinnaur and reach in approximately 5 hours.
2. By Rail: To reach Kinnaur by rail, you will have to take a train to Kalka Railway Station in Haryana. This station is well-connected with other Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Jodhpur. Once you reach the station, you can again either take a bus or a taxi that will take you directly to Kinnaur. The distance between Kalka and Kinnaur is roughly around 337 kilometres, which can be covered in approximately 10-11 hours by road.
3. By Road: You can also make your trip more memorable by opting for a road trip to Kinnaur where you will be welcomed by magnificent views throughout the journey.
